The Life of Bradley Anschutz
Bradley S. Anschutz, 93, husband of the late Hope (Robinson) Anschutz and a long time resident of Westport, CT. passed away on Friday, January 23, 2015 in Norwalk Hospital. Bradley was born June 10, 1921 in Ansonia, CT. and is the son of the late Edward and Dorothy (Steele) Anschutz. He was a WWII Navy Veteran. He was a 1950 graduate of Yale. He worked for the town of Westport for 16 years as a purchasing officer. Bradley was very active in the town of Westport, he was a member of the Saugatuck River Power Squadron, the Westport Y''s Men, the Westport Kiwanis Club and the Saugatuck Congregational Church. Survivors include three sons, Edward B. Anschutz II and his wife Cindy, Steven B. Anschutz and his wife Alice, Bruce R. Anschutz and his wife Linda, three grandchildren and three great grandchildren. In addition to his wife Hope, Bradley was predeceased by one sister Carol Anschutz. A memorial service for Mr. Anschutz will be held at the Saugatuck Congregational Church, 245 Post Road, Westport, CT. on Thursday February 5, 2015 at 11:00 A.M.
