We must simply cherish it & celebrate the love that it brings.
Broussard - Memorial services for Rhark David Quebedeaux, age 4 months, will be held at 2:00PM at Sacred Heart Church in Broussard, Tuesday, February 24, 2015 with Father Bill Ruskoski officiating the services. Interment will follow in Lafayette Memorial Park.
Visitation will be on Monday, February 23, 2015 from 3:00PM - 9:00PM with a rosary at 7:00PM at David Funeral Home of Lafayette. Services will resume on Tuesday, February 24, 2015 at 10:00AM until the time of services.
After years of struggle God granted our prayers and blessed us with our miracle on October 16, 2014. Although he was only here for a short time, we will have a lifetime of memories. His smile was like a lighthouse which drew all of those near to him. He was loved by many. His favorite things were watching Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, playing with his toys, he loved being read to and giving kisses, listening to French music, spending time with his family and he loved to eat!
Survivors include his parents Rhian and Kasie Quebedeaux of Broussard, his fur brother Nico; maternal grandparents Mack & Alice Mulkey of Iota, paternal grandparents Bobby & Judy Quebedeaux of Broussard, Great Grandmother Guy Istre. His Godparents Tricia Mulkey McClelland and Logan Quebedeaux. His Aunts & Uncles Jace Quebedeaux (Caroline), Bobby Joe Quebedeaux, Deanna Orillion (Troy), Wayne Mulkey (Bridget), Tricia McClelland (Chad) & Stephanie Mulkey. Numerous Great Aunts, Great Uncles and Cousins from surrounding communities. His many "Uncles" with the Broussard Fire Department.
He was preceded in death by his Great Grandparents W. Roy Istre, David & Larance Quebedeaux, Abraham & Eva Miller, Doris Blakely (Henry), Louis Mulkey, Harry Benoit and Deanna Credeur. One special Cousin Jamie Quebedeaux.
