Thomas Adams

Thomas Adams went home to be with The Lord on February 17, 2015 after a short illness.

He is survived by his loving wife of 41 years, Daisy; children, Jackie (June), Stacey, and Kimberly (Shawn). Thomas was a cherished husband, father, grandfather, brother, cousin and friend. He was preceded in death by his parents, Emory and Elizabeth and his siblings, Louise (Herman) and Benjamin.

Thomas was a United States Army Veteran and a 1976 graduate of The University of Akron. He was also an avid bowler and proud member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. He loved spending time in the Word of God and often encouraged others to do the same. He was a firm believer of "God and Family". His emphasis on family was undeniable and he was an intricate patriarch of the Adams family.

In addition to his devoted wife and children, he leaves to mourn, his brother, Emory (Idella) and sister, Charsie (Benjamin); sister-in-law, Sara; the Price family; twelve grandchildren, five great-grandchildren; and a host of other loving nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Celebration of Life for Thomas Adams will be held on Friday, February 20, 2015 at 2 p.m. at Rhoden Memorial Home, 1101 Palmetto Ave., Akron, Ohio 44306. Family will receive friends from 1 p.m. until time of service. Interment at Mt. Peace Cemetery. Procession will form at 3801 Fairway Park Drive, Copley, Ohio 44321 and condolences can be sent to Rhoden Memorial Home.
