The Life of MARILYN YVONNE REEVES
Marilyn Yvonne Reeves of Des Moines, passed away peacefully on Monday, February 9, 2015. She was born on July 7, 1935 to Ervilla (Smith) and Bert Haydon in Des Moines.
Marilyn made her career and life passion as an LPN in the OB GYN department at Lutheran Hospital for many years. She loved working with babies in the maternity ward. She was a member of the Northgate Lodge Eastern Star for over 50 years.
Marilyn is survived by her sons, Craig Reeves, Mark (Jane) Reeves and Bert Reeves; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and other loving family and friends.
Per her wishes, cremation rites have occurred and private family services will be held at a later date and she will be laid to rest at Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery in Des Moines.
Memorial contributions may be directed to the American Heart Assocation or the Animal Rescue League of Iowa.
