The Life of Charles Harris

Harris Monument

Capt. Charles D. Harris, original lot owner, ordered a unique monument which was placed in the center of the lot.

Made by Price - Welden Granite Company, the tree shaped stone monument stands about 14' high and 3' wide. It's engraved with military equipment, rifle, amunition stack, canteen, and sheild. According to local history, it's only matched by one located at Gettysburg battlefield.
