The Life of MARK RAYMOND WINGFIELD

Mark Raymond Wingfield, 54, passed away Monday, February 9, 2015 at his home in Des Moines under the care of Steven and Sally after losing a short and courageous battle with cancer. He was born to Alan and Sandra Wingfield in Des Moines on December 6, 1960.

Mark graduated from Woodward Academy and worked for Link Associates for many years. He had a love for balloons, McDonald’s, dinosaurs, toy cars and trucks, and anything blue. When he was younger, he enjoyed riding his bike, widdling, singing, dancing, and listening to music. Mark was truly a big kid at heart.

Mark is survived by his siblings, Michael (Lisa) Wingfield, Steven (Sally) Wingfield, Darcy (Cory) Freeborn, Sonya Wingfield, and Sean (Michelle) Thompson; step-siblings, Sheryl, Teresa, and Doug McDivitt; and many beloved family and friends whom he loved so much.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and loving step-father, Thomas McDivitt.

Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Monday, February 16, 2015 at Evangelical Covenant Church, 2625 Hubbell Ave., with burial to follow at Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery. Visitation will be held 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday at the church.
