The Life of MARVIN EUGENE SANDIN
Marvin Sandin, 84, was born July 21, 1930, to John and Edith Sandin in Des Moines, Iowa. He passed away at Mercy Hospice in Johnston on November 12, 2014.
Marvin worked at Anderson-Erickson Dairy as a route salesman for 50 years. He was an active East High Alum from the class of ’48. Marvin was a member of Urban Heights Covenant Church in Urbandale. He was a man of honor and faith and had a caring heart. He will be missed greatly.
Marvin is survived by his wife, Anna Belle; daughter, Joyrene (Doug) Perkins and their children, Matt, Laurene, and Mark, all of Issaquah, WA; and son, Craig Sandin of Radcliffe, IA.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, November 17, 2014, at Urban Heights Covenant Church, 7605 Aurora Avenue in Urbandale, with burial at Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery. Visitation will be held Sunday from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. at the church.
Memorial contributions may be made to Urban Heights Covenant Church in loving memory of Marvin.
