The Life of DONNA MAE THOMPSON
Donna M. Thompson, 81, of West Des Moines went to be with the Lord on Friday, October 31, 2014.
The family held a private graveside service.
Donna was born in Pittsburg, Pennsylvania on August 18, 1933, the daughter of James and Martha (Lewis) Gotto. She was one of thirteen children. She was a very loving and devoted mother and grandmother.
Donna was a longtime resident of Valley West Apartments in West Des Moines. She led a morning exercise group and made many friends in that community.
Donna is survived by her sons, Joseph T. Thompson and Jay K. Thompson of Pleasant Hill; daughter-in-law, Cynthia R. Thompson of Pleasant Hill; grandsons, Michael W. Thompson and Aaron B. Thompson of Overland Park, Kansas; and many family and friends.
The family wishes to thank HCI Care Services and their donors as well as the staff at Bright Kavanagh House for their compassionate care.
