The Life of Edward S. Quattro

Edward S. Quattro, 79, a longtime resident of Mentor since 1970 died Tuesday at his residence surrounded by family and friends. He was born November 21, 1934 in Thomas, W. VA. Mr. Quattro was a member of St. Mary of the Assumption Church, Mentor, the K of C Willoughby Council and a former trustee of the Americans of Italian Heritage Organization, Lake County. He was a former teacher, administrator and high school coach. He retired in 2000 from Mayfield High School System. Survivors include his wife of 58 years, Mary Ann (Cangley); two children, Cris (Sheri) Quattro and Jean Marie (David ) Kovach; grandchildren, Adam ( Amanda) Kostelnik, Craig Kovach and Ben Sommers; and great grandchildren, Ava and Alexandra. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated 9:30 a.m. Friday, October 31, 2014 at St. Mary of the Assumption Church, 8560 Mentor Ave., Mentor, OH . The family will receive friends 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Brunner Sanden Deitrick Funeral Home & Cremation Center. Interment Western Reserve Memorial Gardens, Chester Twp.
