The Life of ROBERT CARL PETTERSON
Robert Carl Petterson, 68, went home to be with his Lord, on Friday, January 27, 2012, at Lutheran Hospital. He was born in Los Angeles, CA, at the White Memorial Hospital on March 25, 1943.
Bob worked in Loma Linda, CA in the Audio/Visual Department; WHO as Art Director doing the Floppy Show (and box) keeping things up-to-date, kept signage for the show, and also kept the children enteretained during the comedy show. He then worked for the Art Center.
Bob is survived by his loving wife, Bonnie; two step-daughters, Lori (Mike Patterson) Ross, and Kendra (Chad) Ruffert; step-son, Rick Ross; sister, Valerie (Rick) Krueger of Lincoln, NE; eight step-granddaughters, four step-grandsons, and three great-great step-granddaughters. He was preceded in death by his parents, Carl and Reba; and his sister, Tracee Petterson.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Thursday, February 2, 2012 at Hamilton''''s near Highland Memory Gardens, 121 NW 60th Avenue in Des Moines. The family will greet friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, February 1, 2012 at the funeral home. Burial will be held at Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery at a later date.
Memorial contributions may be made to the family in loving memory of Bob.
