The Life of ALICE JOSEPHINE EVERHART

Alice Everhart was born November 12, 1922, to Claude and Mabel Overton in Minneapolis, MN.  She went home to be with the Lord on October 4, 2014 at the age of 91.

Alice was talented in her music and played various instruments.  She enjoyed making homemade bread and crocheting.  Alice attended Heritage Assembly of God Church in Des Moines.

Alice is survived by her daughters, Norma Nelson, Kristine Herselius of Colorado Springs, CO., Claudia Wimmer, Sherryl (Hub) Wallace, and Debbie (Monty Childs) Hansen; 11 grandchildren, 21 great-granchildren, 4 great great-grandchildren; numberous step grandchildren and step great-granchildren; as well as her brother, Verdi (Betty) Overton of Colorado.  She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Hubert Everhart; son, Johnny Bloodsoe; 3 brothers and 1 sister.

Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, October 7, 2014 at Hamilton''s near Highland Memory Gardens, 121 NW 60th Avenue in Des Moines, with burial to follow at Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.  Visitation will be held Monday evening from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
