The Life of JAMES MILTON HARNE
James (Jim) Harne passed away at Bright Kavanagh house in Des Moines on Friday August 8, 2014. Funeral services will be 1:30 pm Tuesday August 12th, 2014 at Grandview Park Funeral Home, visitation will be from 5-7 pm Monday evening August 11th at the Funeral Home. Jim was born in Des Moines on July 2, 1936 to Harold and Nadine Harne, he was a graduate of East High School in 1955, and worked as a Glazer at Foreman & Ford. Jim enjoyed motorcycle trips, traveling, fishing, and NASCAR.
His survivors include his wife Madeline, son Warren (Jeri) Harne, daughters Lorae (Dave) Nicodemus, Patricia (Larry) Walker, brother Warren E. (Sheila) Harne. Grandchildren, Ivy, Jaime, Marcus, Frank, Devin, Jason, Mike, Patrick, and four great- grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to Bright Kavanagh House in Des Moines.
