The Life of Paul Fenisey



AUSTINTOWN – Private services were held Monday for Mr. Paul F. Fenisey, 89, who died Friday morning at St. Elizabeth Health Center.

Paul was born Aug. 25, 1924, in Youngstown, a son of John A. and Theresa Dobrindt Fenisey.

He attended South High School, was a World War II Marine Corp veteran, and became a self-employed carpenter. Paul loved Notre Dame, golfing, bowling, hunting and working in the lawn.

He was married to the former Audrey Beury on Jan. 5, 1946, and she departed this life Jan. 10, 2008.

Paul leaves two daughters, Darla (Frank) Makar of Phoenix and Sherri (Miles) Huntington of Austintown; a son, Daryle Fenisey of Nevada; a sister, Barbara (James) Lawson of Austintown; a brother, Richard (Lois) Fenisey of Florida; five grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Audrey; and two sisters, Irene Pflugh and Margaret Summers.
