The Life of Deborah Warnke
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, August 2, 2014 at 10:00 AM in Martin & Castille''s La Fleur de Lis Chapel for Debbie "B Bop" Warnke, age 46, who passed away at 10:58 AM on Sunday, July 27, 2014 at her residence in Lafayette.
Interment will be in Lafayette Memorial Park Cemetery.
Chaplain Twanda Amos with Heart of Hospice in Lafayette, will conduct the funeral services. Eulogist will be Tracy S. Warnke. The Acadiana A Cappella will sing for the services.
Survivors include her mother, Kathryn Warnke Brophy and her husband Allan of Lafayette; a sister, Patty Cosper of Lafayette; two brothers, Tracy S. Warnke of Houston,Texas and Michael E. Warnke of Youngsville; and many cousins, nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father, John F. Warnke; and her sister, Ginger M. Warnke Wingfield.
A resident of Lafayette, Louisiana for most of her life, Debbie was a graduate of Lafayette High School. She was a cross country truck driver for DMC Trucking Company in Broussard. Debbie was affectionately known as "B Bop" by all her family and friends, as it was her handle name from her truck driving career. She enjoyed singing with the Sweet Adeline''s, karaoke, traveling cross country, roller/speed skating at the House of Wheels and dancing. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
Pallbearers will be Michael Warnke, Tracy Warnke, Jacob Cosper, John Warnke, Allan Brophy and Wayland Bourque.
The family requests that visitation be observed in Martin & Castille''s SOUTHSIDE location on Friday, August 1, 2014 from 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday from 8:00 AM until time of service.
Memorial contributions can be made in Debbie Warnke''s name to Miles Perret Cancer Center, 2130 Kaliste Saloom Rd., Lafayette, LA 70508.
