Gretchen Freel, 99, was born June 28, 1915, and passed away on July 20, 2014.
Gretchen was a longtime resident of Des Moines and worked at the Ford Implement Plant for 30 years. Gretchen was a member of the Community of Christ Church for many years.
Gretchen is survived by her daughter, Phyllis Padgett.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., with visitation beginning at 9:00 a.m., on Thursday, July 24, 2014, at Hamilton’s near Highland Memory Gardens, 121 NW 60th Avenue in Des Moines, with burial to follow at Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.
