The Life of Ruth Lynne Gasior
STRUTHERS - Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 11 a.m. at the Higgins-Reardon Funeral Homes, Poland Chapel, for Ruth Lynne Ridenour Gasior, 59, who passed away Friday, at Beeghly Oaks, with her family by her side.
Lynne was born June 29, 1955, in Youngstown, a daughter of Henry E. and Dorothy M. (Fox) Ridenour.
Lynne was a 1973 graduate of Struthers High School. She was an office clerk for several car dealerships, prior to working at Stadium GM in Salem. She was an active participant with the Relay For Life in Boardman, Poland and Liberty. She was also a member of TOPS. She was known as one of the “Cabin Chicks” and went every year, for 25 years, to a cabin with her sister, cousins, and friends. Lynne loved gardening, shopping and crafts. Her greatest love was for her family, especially her son, who she held a special bond with. She will be deeply missed.
Lynne leaves her son, William A. (Zayna M.) Gasior Jr. of Struthers; her mother, Dorothy M. Ridenour of Struthers; her sister, Marlane M. (Tim) Vulcan of Struthers; her nieces, Darcie Myers and Rachael Vulcan; her nephew, Brian Vulcan; and great-niece Brianne Myers.
Family and friends may pay their respects Monday from 5 to 8 p.m. and Tuesday from 10 to 11 a.m. at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, material tributes may take the form of donations to the American Cancer Society, 525 N. Broad St., Canfield, OH 44406.
Burial will take place at Green Haven Memorial Gardens
