The Life of CLARA B MINCKS
Clara Belle Mincks passed away Saturday, April 5, 2014. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, April 9, 2014 at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon Street, Des Moines. Visitation will be held for an hour prior to the service, beginning at 10:00 a.m. Burial will be at Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.
Clara was born August 31, 1932 in Des Moines to William and Martha Baltzley. She was a member of Capitol Hill Christian Church and a past Matron of the East Gate Masonic Lodge. Clara retired from Midland Savings Bank and enjoyed participating in activities at her church, traveling and spending time with her family and friends.
She is survived by her brothers, Dick Baltzley of Horseshoe Bend, AR and Frank (Nancy) Baltzley of Des Moines, IA; sisters, Edith Reginold and Sharon Foote, both of Seal Beach, CA and Barbara Mills of Orange, CA; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, George Mincks; brothers, Bill, David, and Larry; and sister, Bette Mark.
