The Life of Steven A. Dressler

Steve A. Dressler, 47, a lifelong resident of Mentor, passed away March 30, 2014, at Hillcrest Hospital in Mayfield Heights. He was born January 15, 1967, in Cleveland. Steve raced NASCAR sanctioned cars at Lorain Co. and Lake Co. Speedways; he was the 1999 Track Champion at Lake Co. Speedway; was a Trustee with CKRA, Championship Kart Racing Association, which his sons also raced with in Thompson; Steve was very active cross-training with many Fire Departments and wrecking companies in the skills of up righting and extricating vehicles. He worked at JTO, Inc. in Mentor and 19 years at Bob''s Garage and Towing. Survivors are his wife, Renee (nee Carlson); sons, Steven and Ryan; mother, Judith Bean; sister, Debi (Stuart) Lendon; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Josephine and Robert Carlson; many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews; and cousins. Visitation will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Gattozzi and Son Funeral Home.   Funeral service will be 11 a.m. Thursday, April 3, 2014, at Gattozzi and Son Funeral Home.  Burial will be in Western Reserve Memorial Gardens in Chester Township.
