The Life of DORIS JEAN WALL NORTON

Doris, 84, passed away Monday, March 24 at Senior Suites. Her funeral will be at 10 a.m., Tuesday, April 1 at Merle Hay Funeral Home with burial at Highland Memory Gardens. Visitation will be 5-7 p.m., Monday, at the funeral home.

Doris Jean, the daughter of Albert and Cleo Mae (Vickroy) Griffiths, was born October 31, 1929 in Lucas, Iowa. She enjoyed animals and gardening. Doris especially loved her family.

Doris is survived by her children: Terri (Steve) Lamberti, Mike (Nancy) Shaw, Steve (Dody) Knapp, Garry (Kris) Knapp; six grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; her brother, Tom Griffiths; sisters-in-law, Jackie Griffiths and Hazel Griffiths.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Gene; and two brothers and one sister.

Memorial contributions may be given to the Animal Rescue League.
