The Life of CHARLOTTE W PARDEE
Charlotte Pardee, 91, was born in Nevada, Iowa on November 28, 1922. She passed away March 20, 2014 at Sunny View Care Center in Ankeny, Iowa.
Charlotte graduated from Ames High School in 1941 and married Donald Pardee later that year. She lived most of her adult life in the Des MoinEs area. Charlotte was a good-natured person with a sense of humor and personality that endeared her to others. She was a devoted mother and an excellent cook who enjoyed fixing large Sunday meals for the whole family. Charlotte will be greatly missed by anyone who knew her.
Charlotte is survived by her son, Larry Pardee of Des Moines; and her grandchildren, Rick Miller of Des MoinEs and Julie Irons of Altoona. She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Pardee; daughter, Barbara Miller; brother, Paul Farren; and her parents.
Funeral services will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 25, 2014 at Hamilton''s Near Highland Memory Gardens, 121 NW 60th Avenue in Des Moines, with burial to follow at Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery. The family will greet friends one hour prior to service time at the funeral home.
