The Life of FRANK PAUL ORLANDO

Frank Paul Orlando, 82, of Bern

Township, died September 26, 2016 in

Reading Hospital and Medical Center,

West Reading. He was the husband of the late Anne Kathleen (Smith) Orlando who died July 23, 1977. Born March 24, 1934, in Millmont, he was a son of the late Anthony and Helen (Scianna) Orlando.

Frank was a 1952 graduate of Reading High School and earned his master's and

undergraduate degrees from Villanova

University in Statistics and Mathematics.

He was employed for over 25 years with Carpenter Technology. He retired from Great Valley Bank/Fulton Bank as an Assistant V.P. of

Appraisal Dept. after 10+ years of employment.

Frank served in the Marine Corps for 33 years ranking as high as a colonel.

He was a member of Holy Rosary R.C. Church, Reading.

Frank served as treasurer at Berks Women in Crisis for a number of years and was also heavily involved with Berks Rage Soccer Club Team.

Frank enjoyed watching his grandchildren in their

sporting events: soccer, wrestling, swimming and diving.

Surviving is his daughter, Colleen E. Orlando; and his three grandchildren: Naomi, Sydney A. and Joel M. Orlando.

Services will be Friday at 11 a.m. in Stitzel Family Funeral Homes & Crematory, Inc., 3300 Kutztown Road, Laureldale, PA 19605. A viewing will be held one hour prior to the

service.

Burial will be in Gethsemane Cemetery, Muhlenberg Township.
