The Life of CHRISTINA M. FLEMING

Christina M. Fleming, 77, formerly of Reading, passed away Thursday, February 16, 2017 at 12:45 a.m. in Grandview Hospital, Sellersville. Born in Elkton, Maryland, Ms. Fleming was the daughter of the late Edward A. and Margaret (Haumtratz) Fleming.

She was a member of the former Saint Anthony of Padua Roman Catholic Church in Reading and was a secretary at Bear Alignment in Reading for 20 years, retiring in 1986. Ms. Fleming was the former president of the Rosary Society of Saint Anthony of Padua Roman Catholic Church and was the former president of Community Association at Arbour Square in Harleysville.

She is survived by her daughter, Lisa R. Lubas, wife of James A. Lubas; along with her granddaughters, Melissa A. Ebersole, wife of Chief Warrant Officer Sean M. Ebersole of Virginia Beach, Virginia, and Theresa L. DiFranco, wife of Neil L. DiFranco, of Flourtown, Pennsylvania; and her great-grandchildren: Isabella, Jackson, Amelia, Owen and Ellie. Also surviving is her brother, Edward H. Fleming of Chestertown, Maryland; and her sister, Trudy M. Gibbs of Farmville, Virginia.

She was preceded in death by her sisters, Margaret M. Hayward and Erika M. Stewart.

Funeral Service will be held in Bean Funeral Home,

129 East Lancaster Ave., Shillington, Friday, February 24, 2017 at 10:30 a.m. Reverend Stanley M. Moczydlowski will officiate. Interment will follow in Gethsemane Cemetery. The family will receive relatives and friends in Bean Funeral Home Thursday, February 23, 2017 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. and Friday from 10:00-10:30 a.m.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the charity of ones choice in memory of Ms. Christina M. Fleming.
